| Step 1 - Televised Cleaning and Insertion The interior of the host pipe is thoroughly cleaned and inspected using a closed circuit camera. The U-Liner® Pipe is then uncoiled into the upstream manhole, and pulled through the host pipe via cable from the downstream manhole. |
| | |
Step 2 - Cutting to the Right Length Once inside the host pipe, the U-Liner® Pipe is cut to the appropriate length, and specially designed manifolds are attached at both ends, preparing the U-Liner® Pipe for processing.
| | |
| Step 3 - A Special Expansion Process A patented heat/pressure procedure expands the U-Liner® Pipe, conforming it tightly to the host pipe wall. Since U-Liner® Pipe is manufactured specifically for the host pipe's internal diameter, a close-fit is ensured. |

Step 4 - Restoring the Connections The individual service connections are restored by an internal cutter. This device is a remote-controlled, video-monitored milling apparatus that cuts with great precision. Once cutting is complete, the host pipe is lined for maximum flow.
