National Liner® InstallationFAST, RISK-FREE INSTALLATION

National Liner® is a pipeline reconstruction system consisting of a non-woven, needled, polyester felt which is saturated with a thermosetting resin and inserted into an existing pipeline and cured. This creates a new pipe which has a design life of at least 50 years.

The softliner is normally inserted into apipeline from one existing manhole to another. As a result, no excavation isrequired, and the installation is fast and risk-free.

Whether the National Liner®  is inverted or winched into place, it is expanded to press tightly against the interior of the host pipe. Once in place, the liner is heated to activate the thermosetting resins and cause them to cure into a new structural pipe inside the original pipeline. The wall thickness and other design characteristics of a National Liner®  may be changed to meet your exact requirements.

After a new pipe has cured, lateral linesmay be reopened with a remote-controlled, robotics cutter.

National Liner® InstallationA PERMANENT SOLUTION

During the installation process, resin from theNational Liner®  felt is forced into cracks, joints, and otherirregularities of the host pipe. This creates a mechanical lock between the hostpipe and the National Liner®  and holds them in place.

In addition to adding strength to an existing pipeline,National Liner®  also resists the corrosion and abrasion caused byeffluents which may destroy the host pipe.

National Liner's®  low coefficient of friction almost always increases the flow capacity of the host pipe. In addition to its smooth surface, National Liner®  also reduces turbulence by creating smooth transitions over offset joints, cracks, and missing wall sections.

Of course, National Liner's®  greatest strengthis the fact that it controls the infiltration of ground water that can destroypipelines, reduce the effective capacity of mains and sewage treatment plants, and create dangerous surface sinkholes and other sources of liability.

National Liner®NATIONAL LINER® CAN CONFORM TO A WIDE RANGEOF SHAPES

The smooth interior reduces friction and usually increases the flow capacity. National Liner® also adds strength to pipes weakened by corrosion or cracks and open joints.
